Running on ACS

If Your Vendor Runs on ACS, This Is What That Means for You

Accurant Energy Holdings companies deliver their products on ACS infrastructure. Their customers work with those companies directly; ACS is the infrastructure layer underneath.

Sentient Energy

Grid analytics for electric utilities

Sentient Energy moved its Ample grid analytics platform from general-purpose public cloud to ACS. The application, features, data, integrations, and support contacts did not change. The infrastructure beneath it is now purpose-built for utility OT, with a single organization accountable from hardware to application.

Renovo Automation

SCADA platform for utilities

Renovo Automation offers renovo as a fully hosted production system on ACS as an alternative to on-premises deployment. Renovo maintains the operating systems and application; ACS provides the facilities, hardware, replication, and disaster recovery. Renovo can migrate a complete system back to hardware at the utility’s site if that is later required.

For Your Compliance and IT Teams

The same documentation ACS provides to hosted vendors is available to their utility customers under NDA: the SOC 2 Type II report, its mapping to NERC CIP Low Impact requirements, the shared responsibility matrix, and architecture diagrams with security boundary demarcation. Request it through your vendor’s account representative. ACS is also glad to brief your teams ahead of a migration or audit.
